Art is about communicating transcendent truth and beauty through the senses, and particularly for me as an illustrator, about expressing a narrative idea through imagery drawn from nature and tradition.

I studied at the Glassell School of Art in partnership with the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX, graduating with a BA in the Liberal Arts.
